Frequently Asked Questions

Questions we get asked often

How many lessons will I need?
This will depend entirely on how quickly you learn as we all learn at different speeds. it’s recommended by DSA that all learner drivers have a minimum of 45 hours tuition, with further 20 hours of private practice to stand the best chance of passing the test first time.

Can I have more than 1 lesson a week?
Of course, you can. The more lessons you have the faster you get used to the car and driving on the roads.

Can I have lessons more than 1 hour long?
Yes, many pupils find it beneficial to have longer lessons. 1.5 and 2-hour lessons can be arranged.

What will I need to bring to my first lesson?
You will need to bring both parts of your provisional driving license with you to your first driving lesson. Also if you wear glasses you would need to bring them with you as well.
