Terms & Conditions
Adherence for all learners
You are required to be in possession of a current valid provisional driving licence.
It is your responsibility to show your provisional driving licence to the instructor at the start of you first lesson.
We reserve the right to refuse the use of the instructor’s car for practical tests if the instructor feels that you have not reached the standard required by DVSA.
You will be required to pay in full for any lesson or test appointment that you cancel with less than 48 hours notice. You must let the instructor know this by calling them directly.
Complaints will only be considered in writing if they are within ten days of the incident.
We reserve the right to change your instructor or car at any time. But we will let you know in advance if we do this.
The minimum cost of the car for a practical test is £130, this includes pick up from home, 1-hour lesson before, the insurance of the car and the safe return of the pupil at the end of the test to home.
If you change your pick up or your drop off point without 2 days notice it may not be possible to give you a full hour’s lesson (full hour to be charged) any block lessons or intensive courses paid for are non-refundable, but are transferable to another City Link instructor if necessary.
All block lessons or Intensive courses must be paid for fully in advance.
You (not the examiner) are responsible for the instructor vehicle while you are taking your practical driving test. In the unlikely event of a road traffic accident, you would be liable for any insurance excess (up to £250).
Credit will not be accepted.
If the instructor makes the (student) learner aware of the speed limit, and the learner gets a ticket or flashed by a camera, it’s the learner’s responsibility to pay for the fine and get the points on their license.
